Sqa Manager

**The Company**

A market leading manufacturing company undergrowing a significant period of growth now require an SQA Manager.

**The Role**
- Day to day supervision of the Supplier Quality Assurance Department.
- Implementation of the SQA strategy.
- Continuously improve Supplier performance.
- Ensure the use of up-to-date Quality Tools and Techniques to ensure newly designed parts are within the Supply Chain capability.
- Continuously improve the capability of Suppliers manufacturing processes.
- Reporting on the SQA department and Supplier performance.
- The agreement and the implementation of the Supplier Audit plan.
- The implementation of Supplier Quality Improvement projects.
- The approval of new Suppliers to the agreed corporate process.
- The continuous improvement of all departmental KPI’s.
- New part and process approvals (APQP/PPAP).
- Liaise between supply base and project team.
- Continuously improve Supplier performance.

**The Person**
- Essential to the role is Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Lean knowledge.
- Vast experience within a supplier quality role.
- Lean manufacturing environment.
- Supervision of a team.
- Logical problem solving.
- Best practice tools and techniques for managing supplier quality.
- IT literate (Microsoft, Minitab, SAP).
- Good team player with problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self
- motivated with the ability to work without supervision.
- Flexible and determined.
- Prepared to travel as required.
- Full, clean UK driving License.
