Summary

The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic addition to the Classroom Support and Supervision Team. You will contribute to the classroom learning environment by providing support to teaching staff for those students who require additional classroom support for both physical and academic reasons. You will also be expected to provide cover for whole classes when needed and to undertake a supervisory role during break and lunchtime periods and after school in support of the school as a whole.

- have a proven track record of delivering support within a classroom environment

- be passionate about making a difference.

Essential Qualifications
- minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade C and above, including Maths and English or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status or a desire to work towards this.

Essential Experience
- Previous experience of working with young people aged 11 to 16.
- Previous experience of working within an educational environment.
- Proven ability to deliver learning to pupils.
