Position: Digital Officer

**Salary**: £22,000 - £24,000pa

Location: Office based (some remote working)

The Purpose of the role:
The Digital Officer will play a key role within the business Commercial team by ensuring that content across all of the company online platforms is maintained up-to-date and relevant, by being the primary point of contact for online enquiries received into the business and from across the business user group, maintaining a positive business profile across company social media sites, and conducting digital project work to maximise the potential benefits of online platform presence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update web print content across all platforms according to company brand requirements - these may require a local/regional/international approach dependent upon the activities being described and promoted.
- Assist within the design, compilation, and development of staff newsletters, company promotional content and the development of image standards for use across the digital sphere.
- Work closely with other business colleagues on data capture projects, gathering requirements designing, building and testing online data sets, and digital content for promotional campaigns and communication requirements.
- Work on projects to display and visualise data held within the business CRM [HubSpot].
- When conducting project work, research, install and configure digital modules as required.
- Assist in the checking of newsletter content, links and device compatibility before mass mailings are delivered to customer/colleague recipients.
- Assist with the roll out and migration of business sector and group company websites to the target state content platform.
- Liaise with external suppliers as necessary to maintain relevant codebase or database level changes and all other associated digital administrative tasks.

Core Skills:

- Demonstrate a strong ability to develop a rapport with customers and to engender long lasting relationships at all levels within an organisation
- Ability to understand the technical landscape relating to the production and analysis of digital content.
- Image and graphics design capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal skills to ensure that web and social media-based platforms can be maintained to professional and grammatically correct standards.
- Team player who is able to positively engage and enthuse group discussions across the employee colleague base.
- Willingness to travel across various customer locations and positively contribute to the company reputation and professional standing.
