**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and enforce safety procedures and policies on site
- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate identified risks
- Liaise with site managers and supervisors to ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry regulations
- Oversee the safe movement of plant, vehicles, and personnel on site
- Coordinate emergency procedures in the event of an incident
- Monitor and report on safety performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure that all site personnel are trained and competent in their roles
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and records

**Hourly Rates;**

Weekday**:£16.44 - £18.35**
Weeknight**:£20.55 - £22.93**
Weekend day**: £16.44 - £18.35**
Sat night**:£18.36 - £24.99**

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a COSS role within the rail industry
- Hold a valid COSS qualification
- PTS
- Good knowledge of rail industry regulations and safety procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in high-stress situations
