We're looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of Maintenance and capital projects a plant engineering function.
If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for.
The Role:
As the Mechanical Engineer you'll report to the Head of Engineering and will be primarily responsible for reliability (managing deterioration between inspections) & efficiency (to deliver improved reliability).
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Ensuring mechanical fixed equipment is operating as efficiently as possible
- Working closely with the compliance team to ensure all mechanical equipment is to the required standard
- Heavily involved in site wide projects (NPI, Lean, Sub contractor selection etc) from a mechanical perspective

You'll also need experience of working with pressure vessels, heat exchanges, centrifuges, pumps etc.
Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of batch manufacturing and scale up process'
In addition, it's essential that you possess a Mechanical Engineering Qualification and working knowledge of codes of practice including DSEAR / ATEX, LOLER, PUWER etc, and you will need to be a good planner, well organised and capable of exercising your judgement.
