Yard Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Loading and unloading of all materials in a safe manner. This also includes all Production Shops (where applicable).
- Safe operation of High Pressure Pipe cleaning equipment.
- To maintain effective control of all products and materials during receipt and despatch.
- To ensure internal material issues and receipts are accurately recorded and processed.
- Safe storage of OSIUK and client materials in accordance with OSI procedures and client stocking agreements.
- Carry out Pipe Inspections as per Work Order, this includes stencilling, greasing & fitting of protectors prior to shipment or storage in yard location(s).
- To promote and maintain good housekeeping in the Yard areas to ensure materials and products are stored in an organised manner creating a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance to company risk assessments and procedures at all times.
- To provide security within yard(s), ensuring that yard gates and area are secure at the end of each shift.
- Ad-hoc tasks as required by Supervisor, Chargehand or Shift Leader.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- To create and maintain good working relationships.
- To remain flexible in approach.

**General**
- To progress all individual role targets and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as agreed during annual appraisal.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Background of forklift and materials handling, preferably within a pipe yard environment. Understanding of materials logistics required, and be in possession of Forklift, Overhead Crane and Banksman/Slinger certification.
