**Grounds Maintenance Operative (Driver)**

**Salary £23,000 to £24,000**

You will be working for a successful owner managed landscaping company, maintaining the soft landscaping schemes for some of the most prestigious, new build, housing developments. You will need a good attention to detail and be used to working to the highest standards as your work will ensure that these projects make the finest impression on perspective buyers and new owners. The role will use all your landscaping skills and gain additional qualifications.

Maintenance teams are based at the Reading depot and travel daily to sites in the surrounding area. You will have a reasonable knowledge of gardening practices and general Grounds Maintenance. You will often be “the face of the company” with both clients and property owners and should therefore have a pleasant, friendly manner and good communication skills.

You will ensure that you have the correct uniform and PPE and that the vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate.

**The Person**:
You will have a current Driving Licence with less than 6 points and be used to driving works vans, pickups and flatbeds. Ideally you will have at least a year of previous experience in Landscaping and a broad range of Landscaping skills.
- A current CSCS Card
- Driving Licence (essential)
- PA1 and PA6 certificate.
- Trailer licence
- Digger/Dumper/Tractor or other plant experience / tickets

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
