This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation, based in Doncaster, which has seen continuous growth over a number of years. The applicant will be working across two companies, supporting their activities, operating in the construction sector who provide consultancy and construction services to a variety of different client types.

**Job Title - Office Assistant**

**Reports to: Office Manager/Directors**

**_Duties/Responsibilities_**
- Greet visitors to the premises.
- Maintain office supplies as and when required.
- Keep staff holiday tracker up to date and deal with staff holiday requests.
- Inform Directors of staff absences and maintain records.
- Maintain office utilities and insurances for vehicle fleet.
- General administration support for Directors and Senior management team as required.
- Maintain record keeping on client information on Xero accounting software.
- Pay supplier invoices.
- Reconcile bank transactions and invoices on Xero accounting software.
- Undertake necessary checks and process sub-contractor payments.
- Issue invoices to clients for works completed.
- Liaise with Commercial team to provide accurate cost data on projects.
- Chasing aged debt and outstanding debt.
- Provide financial reports to Senior Management team as and when requested to do so.
- Complete supplier account information requests and start up forms.
- Reconcile delivery notes to invoices received.
- Pay staff weekly/monthly as required including issuing of payslips.
- Pay CIS/PAYE/VAT/Tax sums due to HMRC as and when required.
- Other duties as required by the business from time to time.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident and polite telephone manner.
- GCSE level qualification in Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent.
- Detail focused nature.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Team player.
- Ability to be flexible in line with the needs of the business.

**_Desirable, not essential_**
- Proficient with Xero Accounting Software
- Experience of a similar role in a Construction sector company.

**_Days & Hours_**

Monday to Friday - 9.15am to 2.30pm (Ability to be flexible to needs of the applicant)

**Job Type**: Part Time
