**Case Administrator - His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service**

Brook Street is working with His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service to recruit a Case Administrator for the National Probation Service in Norwich Probation Service carries out sentences given by the courts, in custody and in the community and rehabilitates people through education and employment. These are careers that change lives.

There Full-time hours for this role will be 9AM - 5PM Monday to Friday (37 hours a week).
They pay rate for this role is £10.42an hour (Holiday and pension scheme available)

**The Role**:
We are recruiting for an exciting Case Administrator; this is an excellent opportunity to work within the Public Sector and provide an essential service that has a diverse organisation with a wide variety. The main role will be assisting outbound callers who are either going through the Probation System or signposting and liaising with Probation Officers as part of the London Probation Service Helpdesk.

**What will be your primary responsibilities?**

Taking inbound and outbound calls and handling queries
Liaising with Probation Officers
Assisting people throughout the Probation System
Signposting people that call in through to the correct departments
At times General Administration duties

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, including those who may present complex or aggressive behaviour
Strong and confident telephone manner (as this phone is heavily telephone based)
Use and work on your initiative
Possess basic numeric skills
Excellent Customer Service Skills
