Accounts Assistant // Swinton // Permanent // £26-30,000 dependant on experience

Do you want a finance role that will offer you great variety in a relaxed environment?

We are working with a manufacturing and retail business to hire a finance assistant to join their small but perfectly formed and welcoming finance team who like to enjoy their time in the office as well as get the work done

As the role is outside Swinton, a car is required.

The role will offer variety and tasks could involve:

- Purchase ledger invoice processing
- Statement reconciliation
- Query resolution
- Liaise with suppliers
- Credit notes
- Banking
- Vat returns
- Assist with collating info for payroll
- Helping set up new starters
- Expenses
- Sales ledger
- Credit control
- Assist with month end processes
- Assist with audit
- Cover for other finance team members on various tasks when needed

**Experience**:

- AAT studier would be desirable but not necessary
- Previous experience with Purchase ledger / sales ledger/ credit control / other transactional finance
- Some areas can be trained
- A flexible 'can do' approach
- A team player
