Do you feel you have the skills and experience to be able to work with young people across Devon as part of the Alternative Education Framework? We have bases in Tavistock & Okehampton and are looking for skilled and caring individuals to work with our young people.

Support'ed are an established company offering Values-based Educational support and a range of accredited qualifications including Functional Skills English and Maths and the ASDAN Personal Development Program Bronze/Silver/Gold Award to young people.

The young people we support have a range of complex needs, SEMH, ASC, attachment and trauma. Often, they have disengaged with their educational provision and are at risk of permanent exclusion.

This varied and rewarding role is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to make a positive difference to the lives of young people in Devon.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working within our Values-based Education ethos.
- Undertaking discussions and recordings with young people and those who know them well.
- To contribute to the development of the service.
- To be able to support young people in gaining accreditations.

Person Specification
- Able to work within our Values based ethos.
- Is able to positively engage with young people.
- Has the ability to work independently as well as being an active member of a team.
- Has a willingness and ability to represent the views of the Young Person being supported.

Essential Skills
- Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
- Competent with the use of IT.
- Competent at report writing.
- Be confident delivering accreditations.
- Hold a higher qualification relevant to our work.
- Are able to contribute within meetings, if required, in a competent and professional manner.
- To represent the views of the Young Person being supported.
- To work on behalf of the Directors/Senior Managers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £12.20 per hour-depending on experience

Pro-Rata available

- Monday to Friday
