An opportunity has arisen, for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated administrator to be part of the Diagnosing Advanced Dementia Mandate (DiADeM) pilot project, based in the South locality of Cambridgeshire.

The post holder will work closely with the OPMH Memory Assessment Service to support with business delivery of the DiADeM project (diagnosing advanced dementia mandate, a tool to aid memory assessment for people in the advanced stages of dementia) in care homes.

The post is to provide administrative and business support to the clinical lead for the project. To liaise with wider professional colleagues and residential/nursing homes in the south locality.

Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services not only via inpatient and primary care setting but also with the community. These services include Children, Adult & Older Peoples mental & physical health, Forensic & Specialist mental health, Learning Disabilities, Primary Care & Liaison psychiatry, Substance misuse, Social care, Research & Development.

1. Support with the co-ordination and completion of clinical audits
2. Project support to deliver clinical and service improvement projects
3. Support with preparation of reports on MAS performance and the analysis of performance information
4. Support with business continuity plans and Risk register
5. Responsibility for dealing with telephone enquiries and other communications with a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in line with CPFT procedures and policies.
6. To work closely with DiADeM clinician to identify patients open to memory assessment service waiting list, who are resident in residential/nursing home. Co-ordinate and liaise with primary care staff to collate relevant information.
7. Participate in the production of policies and procedures which facilitate the operational and quality effectiveness of service areas
8. Ensure effective communication systems for all MAS staff are in place enabling local and corporate information to be shared with all staff within the defined locality and for views to be fed upwards.
9. Orders stock and stationery.
10. To provide administrative support to clinician involved with the DiADeM project, to collect and collate data for auditing processes within the project.
11. To contribute to research, audit and service evaluation.
12. To collect key data as agreed by CPFT.
