Housing Options Advisor

**Who we’re looking for?**

You will be responsible for conducting homeless assessments and making decisions around vulnerability, therefore excellent interview skills and the ability to be curious yet sensitive is essential to the role. These posts require a proactive and compassionate individual with experience of managing a complex caseload. You will need to have a good understanding of Housing and Homelessness Pathways, including the legislation that guides the Council’s statutory decisions.

We are looking for a positive and adaptable individual with strong interpersonal skills and significant previous experience of working within Homelessness.

The role very much involves partnership working and as such you must have excellent communication skills, build relationships quickly and effectively, and be able to interpret complex information and disseminate accurately through advice, assistance and information sharing.
