**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Financial Management**:Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the school, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and financial policies.
Process and manage financial transactions, including payments, invoices, and payroll.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:Collaborate with school leadership to develop and monitor annual budgets.
Prepare financial forecasts and reports to aid in decision-making.

**Financial Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using SIMS or similar school management systems.
Reconcile accounts and ensure the integrity of financial data.

**Reporting and Analysis**:Generate financial reports for internal stakeholders, providing insights and analysis as needed.
Assist in preparing financial documentation for audits and inspections.

**Vendor and Stakeholder Management**:Liaise with vendors, ensuring timely payments and resolving any financial queries.
Collaborate with external stakeholders on financial matters, maintaining positive relationships.

**Bilingual Communication**:Communicate effectively in both Welsh and English, facilitating clear and transparent communication with staff, parents, and external parties.

**SIMS and Administrative Support**:Utilize SIMS for financial data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Provide administrative support related to financial matters as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent in both Welsh and English (written and spoken).
- Previous experience in a finance role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with SIMS or similar school management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**How to Apply**:
**Salary**: £25,979.00-£28,770.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- Welsh (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
