**About the store**

Specsavers in Marlow first opened its doors in 2020. The store sits in a prominent position on the main road, opposite Sainsburys, so attracts shoppers from the high street as well as those visiting the larger superstores.

Specsavers in Marlow pride themselves in ensuring that every one of their customers receives an excellent patient experience. The high levels of service and patient care have led to numerous positive customer reviews and an excellent local reputation.

The store is in immaculate condition having only opened in 2020. There are 3 short form test rooms (and 1 hearcare test room) all equipped with the latest clinical technology including Nidek RT-6100 Phoropters and Nidek Combi OCT - meaning you will have everything you need to perform sight tests to the highest possible standards.

A team of 9 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home which delivers around 115 sight tests per week. The existing Partner is really passionate about the clinical development of the team, and as the new Optometry Director you would have the scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required.

The store is located in the picturesque town of Marlow, known for its market, historic streets and famous suspension bridge over the river Thames. There are excellent transport links, a train station within walking distance of the store and the M4 and M40 motorways are nearby. London is just over an hour away by train and the beautiful Chilterns are on its doorstep, it’s easy to see why Marlow is known as one of the best locations on the Thames.

**Requirements of the role**

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this successful store. As the new Optometry Partner, you’ll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community.
