**Buyer (3 Month FTC)**

If you're a proactive individual with a passion for procurement and a drive to create impact, we invite you to join us on a fixed-term contract

Working alongside our team of talented Buyers, you will be responsible for all aspects of the purchasing function, from building key relationships to price negotiations and order administration.

**What you'll do**:

- Raise and amend purchase orders via SAP as required by MRP.
- Initiate savings initiatives and work towards set annual targets.
- Champion process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Negotiate prices.
- Handle formal tender preparation via RFQ and NPD processes.
- Maintain material pricing on SAP.
- Compile monthly Vendor Rating reports.
- Monitor OTIF expectations of the supply base.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, addressing queries and concerns promptly.
- Provide detailed and timely responses to customer concerns.
- Communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.

**What you'll need**:

- Assertive and confident with exceptional communication skills, especially over the telephone.
- Strong background in negotiation and proven cost savings.
- Organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work on own initiative.
- Working towards or possessing the CIPS Post Graduate Diploma (desirable)
- Buying experience within a manufacturing business (desirable).
- Excellent IT skills.
