Plant Hire Administrator

IT Shaw are a small business based in Ulverston, specialising in Plant Hire and Contracting within the Construction and Civil Engineering Industry. We currently have a vacancy for an Administrator to carry out the On-hire / Off-hire process of our plant machinery.

The role will also include basic accounts functions along with other record keeping and general office admin duties.
- Taking enquiries from customers, setting up orders and terminations
- Providing quotes and necessary information
- Using Syrinx tool-hire portal to generate on-hire / off-hire contracts
- Co-ordinate delivery to customer sites
- Generate invoices for hired equipment, and contract works, using Xero software
- Maintaining and inputting customer data and taking payments from customers
- Reconciling of invoices against delivery notes
- Providing admin support to the Contracting department and workshop
- Controling the records and compliance for all Plant, HGV and Vehicles
- General Admin, HR and office management duties

Training will be provided and there will be the option to increase responsibility and position with experience. We are a small team and looking for a dynamic and adaptable person who can enable the smooth running of the business by assisting all departments.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ulverston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Administrative experience: 5 years (required)
- Accounts: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
