YARD GROOM:
This is a position for a **very hard working** individual who loves to work in the cold, the dark, and the rain shovelling horse muck. Pandering to some very spoilt, but rather nice, horses. The yard is a prestigeous show production yard with over 30 animals winning at HOYS or RI over the past few years. The ideallic yard is within 90 acres of pastural and woodland.

It is hard work, particularly in the winter but comes with the reward of working and learning in one of Wales best yards. This is **not a job for people afraid of manual work** nor is there guaranteed riding but there may be riding opportunities and positions for applicants with proven talent. There is nowhere better to work in the warmer months and applicants with an ability to ride may be allowed to do so depending on assessment.

Applicants must live locally, be able to drive to work and be able to work in the UK. This is not a farming position. There is **no accommodation with this position.**

Previous Yard experience is essential, equine qualifications such as BHS desirable. Training will be provided if applicant shows willingness to learn and work hard. This is not a job for people who like drinking coffee around a desk in a warm office. It is working with large animals, requires physical effort and is non stop. Animals do not work 9 - 5 and require care every day of the year.
