Collection Agent

**Role - **Collections agent

**Salary - **£22,000

**Type - Hybrid ** after 12 weeks in Banbury

**Hours - **Straight day shift 10am - 6pm Shift work, shifts TBC, operational hours are between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am until 4pm on Saturdays. Bank Holiday hours are between 10am and 4pm

**Basic Requirements**:

- Aged 18 or above and have right to work within the UK- English speaking and IT literate
- Credit report to be provided
- Basic DBS certificate to be provided

**Experience and Skills Required**- Previous customer service and debt collection experience
- Excellent communication skills, able to show compassion and empathy, demonstrate active listening skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
- Experience working within Financial Services or a regulated environment

**Main Duties**- Manage and respond to customer queries including complex issues, providing a first contact resolution where possible via phone and/or any other digital methods
- Setting appropriate, sustainable and compliant repayment arrangements
- Create a record of interaction with the customer on the customer account, ensuring details are accurate and in line with company policy and procedures
- Communicate clearly and effectively with vulnerable customers or customers experiencing financial difficulties, showing empathy and understanding, whilst remaining focused on the customer journey and experience.
