**Role Title**

**Lunchtime Assistant - Early Years**

**Main purpose of the role**

To assist with child routines around the lunch time period such as sleeping, feeding and general supervision and cleaning.

Assist with the care, maintenance and security of all equipment and toys within the Nursery and the laundering of bedding etc.

Ensure that you help to maintain a safe, attractive, stimulating and reassuring environment for children. Set out/clear away and partake in activities.

Based on the Ground floor. Baby & Toddler Room

Work with individuals or small groups of children under direction.

Support behaviour management and development.

Set up displays and activities.

Attend to pupils’ personal needs including minor first aid.

Establish relationships with parents and/or carers.

Contribute to team working with Nursery staff.

Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security and confidentiality.

**Indicative knowledge, skills and experience**
- Experience within an Early Years Setting.
- A good knowledge of the EYFS.

26 days annual leave per year. Increasing after 5 years service to 31.

Working 15 hours per week.

11.00am-2.00pm Monday - Friday

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £8,761.01 per year
