Bartender

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up the bar, restocking inventory, and cleaning equipment

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Familiarity with retail math for calculating pricing, discounts, and tips
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and familiarity with different types of beer is a plus
- Hospitality mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service

**Salary**: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
