Health & Social Care NI (HSCNI) has established ‘encompass’ to provide the underpinning digital transformation required to support the broader HSC reform agenda. HSCNI has developed and procured many different ICT solutions to provide digital services to our health and social care professionals. Many of these systems are reaching their ‘end of life’ and may no longer be supported by current suppliers and there is a need to urgently replace these systems.

**KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**

**OPERATIONAL DELIVERY**
- Conduct clinical software training classes for the HSC NI community of workforce members as assigned based on credentialing competency
- Work with the Principal trainers to prepare approved materials while meeting project timelines
- Recommend adjustments and updates to learning materials and curriculum as needed
- Assist with creating course materials and documents such as handouts, manuals, eLearning and other educational collateral. While updating existing content and supporting the creation of a trust wide learning library which can be accessed by all trust employees
- Provide status reports and updates in a timely manner throughout the project
- Communicate with suppliers/vendors as required, ensuring good relationships are maintained at all times
- The post holder will promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency
- Ensure the Trust’s policy on equality of opportunity is promoted through his/her own actions and those of any staff for whom he/she has responsibility
- **Adhere at all times to all Trust policies/codes of conduct, including for example**:

- IT Security Policy and Code of Conduct

**YOU MUST HAVE**
- Hold a degree, or relevant Professional Qualification or equivalent, or higher qualification and 1 years’ experience working in Training/ Learning & Development or Human Resources

OR
- Certificate in Personnel Practice, or Certificate in Training Practice, or equivalent and 2 years’ experience working in Training, Learning & Development or Human Resources

OR
- 4 years’ experience working in Training, Learning & Development or Human Resources

AND
- Have demonstrable ability in the design, delivery and evaluation of a range of learning and development interventions
- Experience providing advice and guidance to teams or managers regarding learning and development issues
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post

**SKILLS**
- Demonstrate an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong presentation/facilitation skills
- Project administration skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing

**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**
- Hold a Vocational Assessor qualification e.g. D32/33 A1 or equivalent
- Hold and accredited qualification in Coaching/ Mentoring
- Experience delivering accredited courses such as Institute of Leadership & Management
