DB Charles Recruitment are working with a retail business steeped in history that are looking to hire a permanent Ecommerce Manager to join the business based at the office in Kidderminster.

As with any retail business in today's market, physical store presence is important however the online ecommerce presence is vital and this position requires someone with huge ability to think outside the box and drive team strategy and individual performance.With the business having 4 brands within the group, the role will require someone to work very closely with the Head of Ecommerce and provide supportive people management skills to the 10+ team onsite. As an overview, the role will require the hired individualto take charge of strategy, analysis, process improvement and input with senior leadership. Other key day to day duties will include:

- Identifying new ecommerce opportunities
- Data analysis
- Driving online sales through marketplaces such as Amazon
- People management
- Creating new team targets & KPI's in line with company goals
- Analysis of advertising channels and improving any relevant areas
- Liaising with other internal teams
- Reporting
- Hiring, mentoring & upskilling
- UX investigation
- Ensuring content is consistent across group channels
- Analysis trends and competitor analysis
- A career background within ecommerce
- An ecommerce background within retail would be highly advantageous however not necessary
- Someone who holds strong technical knowledge but able to demonstrate great people management skills & leadership
- Strong ability with systems such as MS Excel, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Adobe Photoshop
- Ideas driven
- Excellent communication skills
- Someone with a confident ability to demonstrate ideas to senior leadership
- Must be happy to commit to an office based role in Kidderminster. The role does not offer remote working.

The role will be working Monday to Friday with hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm and for this position, the client can offer a salary dependent on experience of between £40,000 to £50,000 per annum.
