**Position: Year 6 SATS Teaching Assistant at a Primary School in Enfield**

**Location: Enfield**

**Pay: £ 90 - £110 P/D**

**Role Overview**

As a Year 6 SATS Teaching Assistant at in Enfield, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic development of students preparing for their SATS examinations. This position involves working closely with the class teacher, providing targeted assistance to individual students and small groups, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment in the classroom.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Individualised Support:

- Work closely with the Year 6 class teacher to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, focusing on specific skills and concepts covered in the SATS curriculum.

**Resource Management**
- Assist in organizing and preparing teaching materials related to the SATS exams.
- Collaborate with the teacher to create engaging and interactive learning resources tailored to the needs of the students.
- Progress Monitoring
- Keep detailed records of individual student progress and communicate findings to the class teacher.
- Implement and track strategies to address areas of difficulty for students, ensuring continuous improvement.

**Classroom Assistance**
- Support the class teacher during lessons, helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Assist in the administration of practice SATS exams and other assessments.

**Qualifications And Skills**
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Familiarity with the Year 6 curriculum and SATS examination requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting students in their learning journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
