Location: Cornwall or Devon or Yorkshire

Remuneration: £28,500 - £32,000

The role of the Design Surveyor - Heat Pumps will involve:

- Design Surveyor position dealing with the development of a high quality manufactured range of ground source heat pumps
- Carry out site surveys with the client to gain an understanding of the projects
- Produce and check CAD drawings, documentation and technical reports
- Write and review RAMS for both surveys and designs
- Responsible for the quality of digital models and drawings
- Regularly liaising with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the design process
- Ensuring smooth transition from design stage through to manufacture
- Ensure all works are completed to H&S regulations and to the highest standard
- Providing monthly reports to the Design Manager

The ideal applicant will be a Design Surveyor - Heat Pumps with:

- Must have 2 years’ Design Surveyor experience within the manufacturing market sector
- Experience working with ground source heat pumps extremely beneficial
- Would consider HVAC / M&E / Engineering backgrounds
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Ideally will have an Engineering / Surveying degree
- Ideally will have experience in Energy Modelling such as HevaComp / IES
- Excellent ability and desire to grasp new concepts and ideas
- Confident in checking technical drawings and writing technical reports
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
