**Position Title**: Fire Risk Assessor
**Employment Type**: Full-time (5 days per week)
**Location**: Primarily based in the Home Counties, UK. Occasional travel across the UK may be required once fully trained.
We are seeking a dedicated Fire Risk Assessor to join our risk assessment team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough fire risk assessments across various types of sites. While the primary location will be within the Home Counties, there will be opportunities for UK-wide assignments after completing the training.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify potential fire hazards, assess risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Collaborate effectively with the current risk assessment team to ensure accurate and timely completion of assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, findings, and recommendations.
- Communicate assessment results clearly to stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fire safety.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight stays as required.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification or qualification in fire risk assessment or fire safety management.
- Experience working with diverse types of sites, including commercial, residential, and industrial.
**Additional Information**:
