Machine Minder

We are currently looking for Machine Minders to join our growing team at Bromborough. To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience operating machinery and are looking to take the next steps within your career.

Your role will be to ensure that all equipment on the department is operated correctly and efficiently, whilst carrying out appropriate frontline maintenance to maintain and improve the equipment performance and maximise product output whilst maintaining product quality.

You will support and act as a deputy to the Line Leader in making sure the department is constantly and consistently running to a high standard by proactively identifying issues and taking action to resolve them in a timely manner.

Perform on behalf of Line Leader when required by leading, supporting and advising the teams through good communications and following company procedures to ensure quality and quantity levels are to the required standard.

You will have good housekeeping and health and safety standards throughout the department, whilst also instilling this into the other members of the team to promote the correct behaviours within the team and individuals.

You will embrace and encourage Continuous Improvement and ‘Lean’ manufacturing techniques both individually and as a team, to operate with maximum output whilst maintaining the highest quality and standards.

You will work from 7am - 15.30pm

5 days over 6 (sundays as a rest) with another rest day in the week
