Location: Central Support Office (Newcastle)
We are looking for a dynamic Head of Renewable Power who can provide inspiration, motivation, and guidance to leaders and managers throughout the Renewable Power division. You will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations to make sure it achieves its objectives effectively, efficiently, and financially.

**About You**

You should be self motivated and well organised as well as having strong communication skills.

Experience in the Plant Hire industry is desirable.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Product Management**
- Providing product committee and all required parties with full product proposal, costs, and product specifications for revised and new products.
- Working with the Product Committee & Marketing in readiness for new/revised products arriving, communications internally & to customers.
- Working with marketing to produce seasonal communications for all required products.
- Develop & Maintain Product Brand Guidelines (The Good Kit Guide)

**Infrastructure & Operation**
- Identify and communicate new equipment and/or apparatus required to manage & maintain equipment in depot and in the field.
- Identify new parts and consumables required to maintain existing/new equipment in depot and in the field.
- Establish routine maintenance/service schedule requirements and implement to operation.
- Identify and facilitate any required 3rd party resources and/or technology to support products.
- Obtain and/or create instructions for customer usage and maintenance whilst on hire.
- Identify requirements and standards of Depot operation to facilitate products.
- In partnership with Transport & Logistics. Identify any bespoke requirements for transportation of products.

**Training & Development**
- Working with Learning & Development. Identify key skill requirements and support the arrangement of training for operational, hire and sales roles.
- Support Operational, Hire & Sales teams with product knowledge and training materials.

**Product Development & Standards**
- Maintain awareness of existing product evolution and new inventions in the marketplace to keep Nixon Hire relevant and/or to develop/increase offering.
- Educate/Coach Depot Network on required standards for all divisional products.
- Complete Asset Perfection Inspections throughout the Depot Network, feeding back to Depot Network identification of best practice and required improvements.
- Work with the Fleet Manager to assist in identifying requirements for sales team focus, depot refurbishment requirements, equipment sales or fleet disposal.

**Revenue, Sales & Service**
- Identify and communicate requirements for hire, ancillary and associated service charges for products to ensure recharge and cost recovery.
- Accompany Sales team to customer visits, to provide technical and operational input/suggestions to ensure successful delivery and optimum customer satisfaction.
- Support business and customers with data/reports for product and/or technical performance.
