We are currently seeking a Painter and Decorator to carry out related repairs to properties owned or managed by the Association.

**The role**

Delivering an excellent customer focussed service, you will be responsible for general priming, undercoating and glossing of timber and metal items. Other duties will include plaster patching, full and partial redecoration to void and occupied properties and renewal/cleansing work to rainwater goods, working to disabled adaptations and the removal of graffiti.

**You’ll have**:

- Experience working in the housing repair / maintenance sector.
- Relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate, Relevant NVQ Level 3 or relevant recognised apprenticeship
- Able to diagnose maintenance problems and identify solutions.
- Able to accurately follow/identify maintenance and improvement works, from work instructions and technical drawings and plans.
- To be able to undertake maintenance work across a number of separate trades.
- A full driving licence for use in the UK
