This role may suit an electronic design engineer who is looking for a change of career direction into a more commercial environment.

**As a Component Sourcing Engineer, you will**:

- Identifying suitable alternative components which fit the spec of the product
- Sourcing and procuring components at the best possible price within a requested time frame
- Be responsible for maintaining procurement data
- Inspection and testing of electronic components bought outside the preferred supply chain

**What you will need?**
- To be a qualified engineer (preferably hold an electronic engineering degree)
- Previous experience as an Engineer or similar role (3 years)
- Confident communicator
- Problem-solving and having the initiative to find solutions
- Analytical
- Able to use MS Excel, MRP/ ERP, or a business system
- An understanding of manufacturing or engineering environments
