**This is a fix term contract role to cover maternity Leave cover, with the possibility to become a Permanent employee.**

**Role Summary**

37.5 hours per week

The Bid Coordinator will co-ordination and delivery of a range of activities within the bid team substantially focused on the production of proposal (PQQ, RFI, ITT, RFP etc.) documents. This role The Bid Coordinator is involved throughout the bid lifecycle stages and will directly support then bid team in the management and delivery of bid content, processes and procedures requiring the highest levels of attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines.

**Main Responsibilities**

Production and delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes.

Coordinate proposal input from across all internal functions involving contributions from design, development, operations, commercial, finance and legal teams.

Lead the implementation of collaboration tools, document management and version control best practices in the delivery of proposal output

Ensure proposal documents follow corporate branding guidelines, standard formatting and quality standards.

Provide advice on flow, language and grammar to content owners.

Consolidate sections and/or documents developed by other team members into the required tender format.

Maintain, make available and backup master document sets.

Manage and maintain the electronic portals used by clients to enable the procurement processes.

Support with day to day bid administration, reporting and governance tasks including maintain the internal bid pipeline report

Undertake other tasks instructed by the company.

**Person specification**

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position

Advanced level MS Office skills (particularly MS Word).

Professional understanding of document templates, macros and styles.

Skills in a range of industry DTP Software.

Proven ability in meeting business and organisational objectives

Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

A team player

Confident in the delivery presentations

Organised and methodical

Good at record keeping

An effective communicator both verbally and in writing

Assertive and resilient.

Passion for quality, continuous improvement, excellence and innovation

**Desirable**

APMP Apprenticeship or Foundation

Adobe InDesign
