**Do you work within procurement? Are you looking for your next challenge?**

The PA Media Group are looking for a Procurement Coordinator for Maternity Cover. In this role you will be facilitating the purchase of all internal, direct, and indirect spend.

You will aim to reduce the risk of unauthorised or unnecessary purchases and ensure process compliance. You will provide administrative support to business units during the procurement process, allowing for a smoother running department.

**What you’ll be doing**:
Adhering to formal accounting and requisitioning procedures through the use of financial ERP; U4BW system.
Managing a portfolio of low value contracts.
Providing a single point of contract for processing and recording of all internal purchases.
Supporting the individual making a request by engaging with Subject Matter Expert and vendor.
Ensuring key data supporting each order is collected.
Validating data provided by the business unit.
Highlighting unfavourable terms for negotiation, monitoring changes to prices, and revising specifications.
Escalating risks - such as purchases without contracts or inflated costs - to the appropriate senior.
Pursuing prompt conclusion of each order.
Communicating the progress of orders.

**What we need from you**:
Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc).
Previous office experience.
Experience in a procurement role.
Good attention to detail.
The desire to work towards CIPS qualification.
