We are seeking an aspiring art therapist to join our team as a SEN LSA in our specialist school for Autism. Our school is incredibly diverse and caters to children aged 3-19 with High Support Autism. The goal of this role is to bring light into the lives of these children, to make their lives just that bit better each day, and to give them the dignity they deserve. The school is based in Romford, very easy to get to via public transport and there is plenty of parking.

As an aspiring art therapist, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our students in a variety of ways. You will work closely with our teaching staff to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students, helping them to overcome any obstacles they may face and achieve their full potential.

You will also use your artistic skills to help our students express themselves and explore their emotions. Art therapy has been proven to be an effective tool in promoting mental health and wellbeing, and we believe that it can make a real difference in the lives of our students.
