Yard and Warehouse Worker

**Yard Worker Position**

Are you a hardworking and reliable individual looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment? Look no further We are a family-run builders merchant located in Clitheroe and we're seeking a Yard Worker to join our dedicated team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the smooth running of our yard operations, ensuring all materials are organised, stored, and loaded effectively.
- Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, accurately checking quantities and quality of goods.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to safely move and transport heavy materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the yard, ensuring all areas are free from hazards.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading their purchases, providing excellent customer service.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar yard or warehouse role is preferred, but not essential.
- Possession of a valid forklift license is highly advantageous but training can be provided.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently, with a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
