**About the role**

This is an opportunity to join the busy Housing Options Team dealing with households that are threatened with homelessness. You will be responsible for ensuring that your caseload of clients can access appropriate housing solutions to meet their needs. This is a challenging role and you will require a wide range of skills and knowledge to achieve your objectives.

Merton has the lowest number of households in temporary accommodation in London, so we are looking for someone who is focussed on prevention of homelessness as well as making enquiries into what the Council's statutory responsibilities are.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have

.Strong problem solving and investigative skills.
- knowledge of relevant housing legislation.
- Excellent Communication skills
