Laundry Assistant

**Job Overview**:
Q4 Laundry is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Laundry Assistant. As a commercial laundrette serving various businesses in the area, we require someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload linen deliveries
- Count, sort, and prepare laundry for washing
- Operate washing machines, tumble dryers, and press machines
- Fold and package clean laundry
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
- Assist with other tasks as needed

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility in availability for shift work, including alternating Saturdays
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
- Basic understanding of laundry equipment operations is an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
