**Sales and Marketing Coordinator**

We are an independent, family-owned fitness centre based in Havant, one of the **largest privately** **owned** fitness centres in the South, who pride ourselves on our extremely friendly, **welcoming customer service** and **exceptional service delivery**.

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for c**reating and executing effective sales and Marketing strategies to attract and retain members **including:

- sales calling leads, advertising, video production, developing and managing our websites and effective utilisation of our CRM systems. You will need to have **excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, exceptionally well organised with a proactive approach. A can do attitude is essential.**

Applicants must have **excellent telephone and in person sales rapport**, well developed IT skills and a **real passion for health fitness**. You will need to have a cheerful disposition even when under pressure.

The role involves **flexible working** with variable shift patterns including weekends and evenings.

**Job Title**: Sales & Marketing Coordinator

**Reports to**: Director

**Key responsibilities**:
**This role is responsible for delivering and driving all Sales and Marketing activity for the club.**

**Duties will include**:
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.

Build relationships with potential customers and gym members to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Conduct regular sales calls and tours and provide potential customers with information on membership packages/pricing with a view to ensuring they join the club.

Track and analyse marketing and sales metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts and sales performance.

Collaborate with other gym staff members to coordinate events, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.

Maintain accurate customer data and develop targeted marketing campaigns based on customer profiles and preferences.

Developing and maintain our website, writing, and adding new content pages and producing insightful content to maintain SEO.

Organising and producing promotional materials including marketing videos, photographs, posters, testimonials etc.

Develop systems to ensure a regular supply of testimonials, referrals, reviews and feedback from members.
- Develop links with other businesses, schools, clubs etc to help promote the club.
- Attending marketing events as required and occasional reception cover is required.

**Person Specification**

Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is ideal

2+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the fitness industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to analyse sales and marketing data and make data-driven decisions

Strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Passion for fitness and healthy lifestyle

Excellent IT skills, particularly in relation to social media, CRM systems and video production.

Excellent writing and editing skills with real attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in writing, face to face and by phone.

Ability to work well as part of a small team

Confident and charismatic with the ability to build rapport quickly with everyone.

A flexible approach and the ability to balance the many different aspects of this role.

Reliable with good time keeping, well presented always neat and tidy. Hard working, professional manner.

The role will involve shift working, including evenings and some weekends.

Hold a driving licence and have a car as access to the site is not available by public transport on late nights.

**A commission/bonus scheme will be introduced in due course, once you have established your role and delivered results for the company.**

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
