Bookkeeper

**BOOKKEEPER/ACCOUNTANT**

Note this is an office based full time 9am-5pm Monday to Friday role however part-time or flexible hours considered.

Salary c.£30K depending on experience + annual bonus paid on performance

Key responsibilities for the Bookkeeper/Accountant include,
- Full accountability of P&L and balance sheet
- Preparing and maintaining purchase and sales ledger
- Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews
- Carry out credit control functions
- Vehicle bonus review, coding and processing
- Handling bank reconciliations and loading payments
- Administer VAT returns and payments
- Provide monthly departmental financial analysis, including production of Management Accounts and completing manufacturer's monthly composite reports
- Complete preparatory work for the year end accounts

The ideal Bookkeeper/Accountant would need,
- Solid experience within a similar role is a must, ideally within the Automotive sector but not essential
- Good knowledge of financial accounting systems i.e. Sage and excellent IT skills
- Meticulous attention to detail along with confident verbal/written communication skills
