**Purpose of Job**:
To promote the company’s services in a professional and FCA compliant manner by working in collaboration with Financial Advisers in preparing recommendations and producing suitability reports in line with company policy, including preparing and maintaining client records.

**Key Accountabilities**

To support the advisers and promote a good relationship between the adviser and their clients.
- Deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties
- Answer the telephone on a shared basis with other colleagues
- Record client communications
- Assist Financial Advisers to compile financial reports
- Discuss client objectives
- Liaise with product providers
- Obtain information, quotes, illustrations and product details
- Report any breaches to the data manager
- Report any complaints to the Compliance Manager
- Comply with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly

**Skills and Experience**:
**Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year relevant professional experience in a financial institution
- Previous experience in a related role using IO will be advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

**Skills**:

- Understanding of the Financial Planning process and products
- Prioritise and plan own workload
- Detailed and accurate
- Articulate
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Good IT skills
- Good report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
