We are an aspiring organisation, and we are looking for equally bold and creative Resource Management and Business Planning Controller to join our team. Nissan is positioned to become the most desirable Asian brand in Europe, and we need your help to get there.

**Purpose**

We are seeking a Resource Management and Business Planning Controller to be based at Nissan Technical Centre Europe, Cranfield to:

- Coordinate Business Plan and Forecasting Processes and Reports Delivery to Japan HQ
- Coordinate Company Workload and Capacity Reporting and Analysis
- Support Mid-Term Plan Objective
- Lead Engineering Time System tool deployment and maintenance
- Support Global Integration: Benchmark and best practice sharing
- Coordinate offshore support for the site

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**:
**Business Planning & Forecasting**:

- R&D total data validation for BP/Forecasts Submission
- Reporting to Japan according to standard formats
- Support SVP/VP Ad Hoc Requests for BP/Forecasts

**Mid Term Plan (MTP)**:

- Update MTP projects' workload database

**Workload and Capacity Management**:

- Lead Resource Management Meetings process
- Coordinate External Staff to complete database updates and analysis (weekly) and support the task when required
- Ensure accurate Workload and Capacity data is being released to Sections
- Support Ad Hoc Workload estimations/simulations requests

**Engineering Time System tool deployment and maintenance in NTCE**:

- Lead tool UAT in FY23 and deployment in NTCE in FY24
- Educate business on correct time reporting
- Ensure due tool maintenance with other team members

**Offshore Coordination and Umbrella Agreements Making**:

- Coordinate offshore support for R&D, gather requirements, negotiate with Purchasing/Legal/R&D Sections, manage purchasing orders and statement of work.
- Support studies related to Umbrella Agreements making (e.g. clarify with Business which services are to be performed; estimate necessary workload for the Fiscal Year, etc.)

**Additional**:

- Work Cross-Functionally and Cross-Culturally to ensure best practices adoption.
- Support processes integration and alignment between UK and Spain Teams to have "One Voice".
- Recognize issues, problems, or opportunities and determine whether action is needed. Choose the most effective option, establish clear decision criteria and evaluate options by considering implications and consequences.
- Set high standards of excellence for performance and quality. Seek new opportunities to contribute and take responsibility for results. Make recommendations for future challenges.
- Coordinate External Staff and ensure effective and efficient business operation.

**The Resource Management and Business Planning Controller should have the following skills or experience**:

- Be degree qualified (or equivalent).
- Have relevant experience or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects simultaneously, as well as work with big volumes of data.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be self-motivating, self-managing, pro-active and positive. Have an energetic personality and be flexible regarding working practice and working hours.
- Valid UK/European driving licence is required
