Groundsperson

RECRUITMENTiQ are delighted to be working with a School based in Potters Bar, and they are seeking a Groundsperson.
Required as soon as possible
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 2pm
Actual annual salary: £17,493 per annum (based on £21,575 for the full-time equivalent post)
Groundsperson required to undertake all general grounds and site maintenance tasks, ensuring the grounds and facilities of the school campus are maintained to an exceptionally high standard.
The Facilities team currently consists of four caretakers and one Groundsperson, who work closely together and is headed up by their very experienced Premises Manager.
The team is responsible for the maintenance of all areas of our 35-acre site, including all our buildings and the facilities inside. It is a very busy and well-respected team as they ensure the smooth running of all facilities so that the teaching and learningwithin the school continues uninterrupted, and in a pleasant and well maintained environment. They are looking for someone with a passion for groundskeeping to replace our retiring Groundsman.
The school is situated on an attractive 35-acre site in the Green Belt, has excellent facilities and is committed to an extensive programme of staff development.
Central London is easily reached by rail from Potters Bar and the school is close to motorway links.
