Bar Supervisor

Are you passionate about craft beer and exceptional customer service? We're seeking a dedicated Bar Supervisor to join our team at The Brewery Tap in Abingdon. We are a 5 time CAMRA Oxford Town and Country Pub of the Year with a menu serving homemade pies and in -house smoked meat platters. We also have great live music twice a week.

**Position : Bar Supervisor**

Location: Abingdon

**Employment Type: Full Time Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per year (plus tips)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Train and supervise bar staff, maintaining high standards professionalism and performance.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimise efficiency.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere, engaging with customers and handling any issues or concerns
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food and beverage service
- Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both staff and patrons.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Knowledge of craft beer and enthusiasm for the brewing industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
