We are looking for a Bank Counsellor to join our Counselling and Support team at Compton Care.

Upon diagnosis of a life-limiting illness, our patients and their families may struggle emotionally. To support them to live well, our Psychological Therapies Team offers a safe confidential space to explore and work through any concerns they may have. We work with patients and families to offer a plan of support that is tailored to their individual needs so that we care for them in the way that meets those needs and feels right for them. We also offer bereavement support to families who are experiencing loss and grief.

They will also have a good understanding of the theories around loss and bereavement and will have worked with people who are experiencing grief. The work will mainly be with adults.
