**Becoming a Parts Driver for Motorparks Bury **

To provide polite and courteous service to all external and internal guests, delivering their requirements for various parts and developing business opportunities for the department, optimising the guest experience at all times.

You have a **‘Full Clean UK Driving Licence’.**

**What does a normal day look like?**

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- The primary duty of Drivers is to drive safely to their destination. They are also often expected to perform the following duties including:

- Collecting stock or goods from a collection point and ensuring that all customer orders are complete
- Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which the deliveries will be made
- Planning the shortest and best routes to clients by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration
- Using GPS navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on time
- Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues
- Driving in inclement weather such as snow
- Delivering products that are in good condition to clients
- Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork
- Updating route, mileage and delivery logs
