Cleaning Operative

Job Title: Cleaning Operative

We are looking for one trustworthy and dedicated cleaner to clean a small hair and beauty salon, for 3 days a week all year round. Work days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, for 2 hours each evening.

We need a cleaner that is trustworthy and happy working through a list of tasks on their own but also has the capacity to work alongside others and split duties if that is required.

This is a permanent role. The successful applicants will become a very valued member of the current team and will receive online and in-person training, as well as an Enhanced DBS check certification.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize staff toilets and replenish supplies
- Empty rubbish and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness throughout
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

**Skills**:

- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and standing for periods of time
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and senior staff

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 6 per week (for this specific role in Broadway, other positions require other hours)

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

- Evening/Night shift
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Applicants MUST have a drivers licence or the ability to attend the location outside of regular commuting hours.
