A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Car Park attendant for the hospitality sector, who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. This position is for a large trust who will be part of a major 24-hour security operation.

Car Park Attendants have a vital role to manage onsite parking in line with the Trust's Parking Policy whilst ensuring that the hospital is welcoming and accessible but also a safe environments for patients, visitors and staff as they will have constant contact with patients and staff. We are looking for someone who can protect and has a thorough knowledge of the premises.

We are looking for someone who knows when and how to diffuse potentially difficult situations and be able to react appropriately in an emergency

**Job Requirements**:

- Have a good level of physical fitness
- Be familiar with Private Parking Industry
- Excellent communications both written & verbal with Client, Colleagues or Public
- Excellent level of customer service
- Be able to fully operate a Smart Phone
- Be able to deal with possible confrontations and aggression from users of the car parks
- Must be flexible
- Reliable, Responsible & Punctual

**Job Role**:

- To manage onsite parking in line with the Trust's Parking Policy ensuring that payment systems are maintained in good working order and access to the site is properly always maintained.
- To ensure that the regulations of the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust parking are enforced.
- To ensure that visitors of all kinds are courteously received and assisted, including the giving of directions and where appropriate escorting people to their destinations.
- To patrol car parks and roads etc and be vigilant for actual and potential incidences of crime, and of obstructions.
- To protect income at all stages of the cycle by carrying out enforcement procedures as directed by the Trust's enforcement policy.
- To regulate the movements of traffic, organise and control the parking of vehicles within the hospital grounds.
- To carry out regular checks of vehicles parked within the hospital using the Wise Parking authorised whitelist to ensure only authorised vehicles either displaying a valid permit or have a e-permit to use the facilities provided.
- To enforce the proper use of disabled spaces, delivery bays, dropping off points, Ambulance parking areas and patient transport spaces and issue appropriate PCN’s to those who violate the parking rules and regulations.
- To carry out regular checks of the car parks and maintain clear access at all times.
- To provide assistance (including alternative parking options) to any driver or passenger who is in need
