Deinstallation Assistant

As an **offsite** based role with significant working time spent on client sites **nationwide**, you will need to be able to follow instructions, be a good communicator and a team player.

The role involves working in a team of telecoms engineers performing deinstallation of telecoms equipment, lifting and carrying of telecoms stock and movement of large telecoms racks using lifting aids.

Physical strength required, and the ability to safely handle stock items, some of which can be very heavy requiring two people or lifting equipment.

The main base is **Andover **and therefore you will need to report to SP10, ready for travel nationwide, which will require **working **_**away from home Monday to Friday**_ with the team, unless the role is local to your home location (within 1 hr drive). All overnight accommodation will be booked for you and prepaid by Lynx with team members all staying in the same location. You will also receive a daily paid allowance for meals.
- **No two days are exactly the same, working as part of a team your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:_

**Site Equipment De-installations**
- Unloading of equipment from site vans
- Physical de-installation of telecoms equipment, as part of a team & using tools provided
- Recovery of redundant cable systems
- De-installation of infrastructure such as Unistrut, cable tray and basket.
- Moving equipment to staging area / loading bays.
- Loading equipment onto vans / lorries

**Deliveries & Collections Assist with -**
- Delivery of equipment & consumables to work site
- Delivery of equipment to clients’ sites & collect equipment from clients’ sites
- Movement of equipment to Lynx warehouses

**Detailing Assets**
- Record serial numbers of stock items, labelling stock items & preparing stock for transport to warehouse
- Assist with stock takes and inventory counting
- Prepare stock for recycling

Hours are 8:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
- **£12.00- £12.90 Per hour depending of experience**_

Pay: £12.00-£12.90 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
