Plumbers Merchant Apprentice

**What will the apprentice be doing?**

Main responsibilities within the role include but not limited to.
- Managing goods in and out
- Picking and packing orders & deliveries
- All aspects of stock control
- Answering telephone and dealing with enquiries
- Raising customer quotations
- Processing sales order
- Basic office admin duties

16yr - £12,480 17yr - £13,520 18yr - £14,560 19yr - £15,600

**Working week**

16-19yr, hours will be 8am - 4pm Monday -Friday plus 8am - 12pm Sat (rota basis for every other week). 19yr+, hours will be 7.30am - 5pm Monday -Friday plus 8am-12pm Sat (rota basis for every other week).

Total hours per week: 40 hours a week

**Expected Duration 17 months**

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**
- Trade Supplier Level 2 Apprenticeship
- You will also complete functional skills in English and math at level 1
- The apprenticeship course is delivered on the job with monthly tutor visits face to face on site and remote via MS Team's

**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**

Full time role once training is completed with further opportunities likely in the future.
