Post Title: Bid Writer

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time), or part time job share by arrangement

Contract: Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000 - £28,000 depending on experience (full time salary)

Geographical Area: Remote working (predominantly)

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
2. To work with customers to develop capital or revenue projects.

Liaising with: All partner organisations, WRTG consultant, Chief Operating Officer

Other: Access to transport is desirable

CORE DUTIES

Delivery Responsibilities:

- Research available funds
- Reporting

Monitoring & Performance: Regular 1:1 sessions, programme meetings

Line Management: None

Essential:

- Knowledge of fundraising within a charity, CIC or non-for-profit organisation (or similar) environment, designed to meet social outcomes.
- Knowledge of developing both capital and revenue projects for non-for-profit organisations.
- Knowledge of compliance matters in relation to grant-related and other funding arrangements.
- Knowledge of key funding bodies including Reaching Communities, Comic Relief, Children in Need, Awards for All and Sport England.
- Ability to use word, excel, google documents to a high standard.
- Ability to respond effectively and quickly to competing work priorities.
