Child Support Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Child Support Assistant for an ASN child who MUST be able to register with the SSSC and MUST hold the relevant qualifications of level 7 childcare and education/SCQF7/HNC or equivalent. And must be able to submit a PVG check.

This will be a 1:1 post fully committed to the child with the ability to work as part of the team in relation to observing, planning and providing in relation to the childs interests and development. To be able to work off own initiative providing support and extension when needed.

To promote positive behaviour and support the child's personal, social, and emotional development, to foster child's growth, self -esteem and independence and assisting the child to participate as fully as possible in activities, opportunities on offer and assist in identifying any adaptations that may assist in this.

To plan and deliver focused learning opportunities for individual child, to work with key workers, to discuss the child's individual needs.

To maintain reports, records and learning for assessment purposes.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 13 months

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
